The Cydia tweaks just keep rolling in. Say hello to Cydia’s newest tweak, PushTone. And also some apps don’t have a notification sound. All the notifications sound the same, you can’t tell the one which you care. With this tweak, you can select a sound from your iPhone’s ringtone library and now enable it for every push-enabled app.
Setup is easy. To assign a sound, go to the Notifcations panel in Settings, choose the app from the list and configure the sound played with the new option added to the bottom.
Note: Sounds can only be assigned to app notifications that support audible alerts ‘sounds’
No icons added to the home screen. Options and info in Settings.
You can now get PushTone in the Cydia store for $1.99 under the BigBoss repo.
